New York—Nielsen Business Media has confirmed that the company shut down Sales & Marketing Management
magazine. The last issue of the publication was in February. A Nielsen Co. spokesperson did not immediately specify the number of jobs lost as a result of the publication's closure. Nielsen, which is exiting the trade publishing business, has shut down Training
as well as other publications and has sold some others, such as Billboard, Editor & Publisher, The Hollywood Reporter
and Kirkus Reviews
, to a number of buyers.
