Nokia rolls out mobile advertising network

Barcelona—Nokia on Monday announced the introduction of the Nokia Media Network, an advertising network including more than 70 publishers, telecommunications operators and Nokia media properties.

Partners include AccuWeather, Discovery Networks, Hearst Magazines Digital Media, Reuters and Sprint. The network places ads on the various publishers' mobile Web pages and Nokia properties.

Nokia in October acquired mobile advertising company Enpocket. It uses Enpocket's analytics technology to measure campaign performance across the network.

Nokia has also expanded its account management and media sales teams to include offices in Beijing, Boston, Chicago, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Milan, Minneapolis, Mumbai, Munich, New York, Paris, Singapore and Shanghai.
