Nonspot radio revenue up 10% in third quarter, but overall revenue falls

New York—Nonspot radio ad revenue rose 10% in the third quarter compared with the same period in 2006, according to a report released by the Radio Advertising Bureau. Despite the nonspot growth, overall radio ad revenue fell 2% in the third quarter. Local radio ad revenue slid 2%, while national radio ad revenue dropped 4%. Network ad revenue grew 5%.
