Norman Pearlstine, Chief content officer, Bloomberg LP

Pearlstine, who joined Bloomberg in June as chief content officer, will become chairman of BusinessWeek after Bloomberg's purchase of the McGraw-Hill Cos. title closes. Previously, he was a senior adviser to the Carlyle Group. He has spent most of his career in journalism, including stints as editor in chief of Time Inc. and managing and executive editor of The Wall Street Journal.
