Secaucus, N.J.—Northstar Travel Media, publisher of Travel Weekly, has opened a new strategic marketing business unit. The company appointed Michelle Rosenberg, formerly publisher of Northstar's TravelAge West, as VP-marketing solutions. She will lead Northstar's new marketing services business.
Northstar said the unit will focus on creative services, events, research, technology platforms and social media management. Northstar joins Dow Jones & Co. and Penton Media, both of which have introduced custom content and marketing services units in the past month.
