Published on .

New York—The New York Stock Exchange has partnered with online directory Yelp and lending company Accion to produce Small Business Connections, a series of workshops aimed at small businesses. The event series is the first small-business event component of the NYSE Big StartUp, a nationwide job creation program. The workshops kicked off last week with events in Austin, Texas; Houston; and Tucson, Ariz. The next will be held Aug. 22 in Boston, followed by New York, on Aug. 23. Future events will be held for small businesses in Chicago, Miami and San Diego. The events are free to small businesses and are designed to help with funding resources and business growth strategies.
