NYTimes.com launches new large ad format

New York--New York Times Digital said it has launched a new, larger ad format on NYTimes.com, supporting one of the new online ad units recently proposed by the Interactive Advertising Bureau. So far, advertisers including IBM Corp., Ernst & Young L.L.P., Toshiba Corp. and Cingular Wireless have signed up with NYTimes.com to use the 336x280 pixel ad unit.
