NYTimes.com unveils redesign

Published on .

New York—The New York Times on Sunday unveiled a major redesign of its Web site, nytimes.com. The enhancements include “My Times,” which will provide readers with the ability to create personalized pages with RSS feeds from the Times and across the Web; “Today’s Paper,” which organizes and groups headlines according to the section of the current day’s printed newspaper; a new “Video” section, with more original Times video reporting; and a “Times Topics” page, with recent news, archives and reference material on “organizations” and “subjects.” On Tuesday, the Times changed its daily financial tables, replacing the six pages of stock tables it has been running with two pages of analytical tools and summary information on the markets. Comprehensive stock information, as well as interactive graphics, will be available on nytimes.com.
