Framingham, Mass.â€”IDG Communications announced that John Oâ€™Malley, president of Worldwide IDG Global Solutions (IGS), and Matthew Yorke, senior VP-corporate sales U.S., have been given expanded responsibilities for IDGâ€™s media and event brands. Effective immediately, Oâ€™Malley adds the role of CEO of IDG Connect and IDG List Services to his current responsibilities. Yorke, who has been named senior VP-sales and marketing for IDG Communications U.S., adds responsibilities for marketing, IDG Research Services and communications to his corporate sales position. Oâ€™Malley joined IGS in Europe in 1999 as director of strategy and business development, was promoted to president of IGS EMEA in 2000 and added management of U.S. and Asia-Pacific IGS in 2002. Yorke, who also joined IGS in 1999, became senior VP-corporate sales for the companyâ€™s largest customers in the U.S. last year.
