Office Depot enhances Web site with customer ratings feature

Delray Beach, Fla.—Office Depot has added a new product review and rating feature on its Web site that gives customers the ability to share product feedback with others. The new Web 2.0 feature was implemented by Bazaarvoice, a social e-commerce company.

The new feature is designed to help customers decide on purchases but also provides marketing intelligence.

“Customer reviews and ratings not only help people make informed buying decisions but also provide Office Depot with important feedback on what our customers want and need from the products they are using every day,” said Karim Hadchiti, VP-global e-commerce at Office Depot.
