Delray Beach, Fla.—Office Depot announced Tuesday it has launched its “Official Small Business of NASCAR” promotion this year in conjunction with ESPN.

A new Office Depot-ESPN-produced commercial will air during the promotion period (Feb. 18 through March 31), featuring NASCAR star Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Office Depot Ford Fusion in NASCAR’s Nextel Cup series, and a variety of small-business owners racing to become the winner.

The company will pick one small-business owner to become the Official Small Business of NASCAR. The winner will be unveiled in a profile on ESPN’s “NASCAR Now” program, and the business will receive a $10,000 small-business makeover package; in addition, the winner will have its company logo displayed on Edwards’ car.
