Ogilvy digital agency acquires search marketing consultancy

New York—Neo@Ogilvy, Ogilvy Group’s global digital and direct media company, announced Friday that it has acquired Global Strategies International, a 3-year-old consultancy that specializes in search engine optimization, brand reputation management and training.

The move gives Neo@Ogilvy additional search marketing expertise, while GSI benefits from the agency’s deep resources.

Neo@Ogilvy said the combined global reach of both companies includes 24 offices in 21 countries. GSI also shares some of Neo’s clients.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
