Omniture adds viral video measurement to marketing suite

Orem, Utah—Online marketing company Omniture has added new capabilities to its SiteCatalyst Web analytics product to more effectively measure video shared across social Web sites.

The new feature aggregates into a single dashboard viral video viewing information from sites such as YouTube. Marketers can use these metrics to generate reports on the number of prospects who have viewed a video, linking the behavior of prospects to actions on the marketer’s site. It also reports on viral video ad performance and the revenue associated with each video.

SiteCatalyst is a component of the Omniture Online Marketing Suite, a portfolio of optimization applications for visitor acquisition, conversion, online analytics and multichannel analytics.
