San Francisco—Webcasting and virtual events company ON24 Inc. has extended its international presence with the acquisition of a Spanish virtual events company, and search engine optimization company Rio SEO made an acquisition to augment its local search capabilities. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
ON24 acquired Madrid-based IMASTE, the largest virtual-events company in Europe with a significant presence as well in Latin America. IMASTE customers include Accenture, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and The Economist.
Rio SEO, which was spun off
from search marketing agency Covario Inc. in April, has acquired San Diego-based Top Local Search, adding “hyper-local” search technology for retailers, manufacturers and service businesses with multiple locations, as well as dealerships and franchise owners.
