Online ad revenue in UK drops 10% from first quarter

London--Online advertising revenue in the U.K. was 42.8 million pounds ($61.9 million) in the second quarter, down 10% from first-quarter revenue of 47.4 million pounds ($68.2 million), according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau U.K. It was the second straight declining quarter for online ad revenue in the United Kingdom, due largely to a decline in IT and telecommunications spending, the IAB UK said.
