Onvia offers information on early-stage commercial and residential construction projects

Published on .

Seattle—Onvia, which provides industry-specific information to improve sales intelligence, has expanded its service for the construction industry to include information on emerging commercial and residential projects nationwide.

The company said commercial and residential projects, unlike the government projects it has traditionally tracked, typically start out below the radar.

"The new Onvia service eliminates the need to manually search public records," said Mike Pickett, CEO of Onvia, in a news release. "Onvia now notifies architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers about early-stage projects, including industrial parks, condos, retail developments and assisted-living facilities, in time for clients to build relationships with decision-makers and potential partners."

Long Span Bridge & Culvert, which designs and builds bridge and culvert systems, is one of the first companies to sign up for the new service.
