Los Angeles--Add Oracle Corp. as the latest company to promote the value of customer interaction analysis. The database vendor, based in Redwood Shores, Calif., announced a new product that tracks and analyzes customer behavior online. Called Intelligent Warehouse, the product's key feature is the use of extensible markup language to deliver in-depth reports to marketers over a browser. When coupled with Oracle enterprise resource planning databases and customer relationship management applications, Intelligent Warehouse gives marketers technology for handling customer service across multiple platforms, Oracle claims. The move follows closely on the heels of IBM's bid to add marketing analysis to its Net.Commerce server line through a partnership with net.Genesis.
