OrderFusion, EC Outlook tie knot

San Diego--OrderFusion Inc. said Monday that it has signed a deal with EC Outlook to create a system that can accept and return any electronic data interchange or extensible markup language b-to-b transaction regardless of the type of business system that originates it. This move is significant because a stumbling block to Internet b-to-b trading has been formatting transactions for automated exchanges. OrderFusion brings its Orders of Magnitude brand of EDI transaction software to the partnership, while EC Outlook, Houston, brings its system for collaborating among business trading partners over the Internet.
