Outsell introduces service to help boost subscription revenue

Burlingame, Calif.—Analyst firm Outsell on Tuesday launched Customer and Revenue Opportunity Analysis, a service intended to give content providers insight into their subscribers’ demographics, engagement level with their products and new revenue opportunities.

The new service stems from a partnership announced in November between Outsell and Scout Analytics, a subscription service, to help content providers boost subscription revenue.

“As subscribers’ paid-content options multiply, their content providers are under increased pressure to deliver value. Those companies that can better understand their clients’ needs and usage patterns are well-positioned to strengthen and expand their subscriber relationships,” Louise Garnett, VP-Outsell Scout Analytics, said in a statement.
