Pasadena, Calif.—Search company Overture Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yahoo!, announced it has extended its global search distribution agreement with Microsoft Corp. through June 2006.

Overture will continue to supply paid search results for MSN's sites in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.

Previously, the three-year agreement was set to expire next June.

Last week, Microsoft debuted a beta version of its new search engine, MSN Search.
