'PC Computing' rate base rises

Published on .

San Francisco -- PC Computing, a Ziff-Davis business technology publication, announced a rate base increase to 1,050,000, effective with its September issue. The magazine said the increase was due in part to a 5.1% jump in newsstand sales in the second half of 1998 compared with the same period of 1997. Nonetheless, PC Computing's ad pages declined 12.95% between 1997 and 1998, according to Adscope, Eugene, Ore.
