'PC Magazine' debuts Technology Confidence Index

Published on .

New York--Ziff Davis Media’s PC Magazine Monday introduced its Technology Confidence Index (TCI), a quarterly consumer and business technology survey. The first installment of the survey indicated that business and consumer tech spending is rising.

PC Magazine surveyed more than 4,700 technology influencers in September and October for the TCI, Ziff Davis said.

Fifty-six percent of the information technology professionals surveyed said they expect their company to spend more on computing and IT next year than they did this year, while only 10% said they expect spending to decline next year.
