New York--Bucking the downward trend among computer titles, PC Magazine
will increase its frequency from 22 issues to 24 issues a year, starting in 2001. The Ziff Davis Media Inc. magazine will add to the mix a summer issue, plus another one sometime in the fourth quarter. Tim Castelli, publisher of PC Magazine,
said, "Technology is being introduced faster than ever before and our editors feel we needed to add space to distribute more information." He said the magazine is boosting its Internet coverage.
