Austin, Texas--One of the first companies to automate corporate purchasing on the Web, pcOrder.com, Austin, Texas, announced Tuesday partnerships with seven high-tech consulting firms to expand the services it offers customers. Dubbed the pcOrder Partner Program, or "P3" for short, the offering melds pcOrder.com's expertise in sales and distribution with the consultants' expertise in such areas as Web page design and customer service. The partners are Agency.com, Lante Corp., Emerald Solutions, EnterpriseWorks, Net Quotient Consulting Group, New Boston Systems and PSW Technologies. pcOrder's customers include Compaq Computer Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. and IBM Corp.
