PennWell launches marketing services division

Tulsa, Okla.—Media and information company PennWell Corp. has launched a marketing services division, a stand-alone unit that will provide strategic consulting and marketing solutions such as content marketing, digital and social media, lead generation, product launches and website development. The company hired Paul Andrews as VP-marketing services to oversee the unit. He previously served as a consultant to PennWell's public safety franchise. Andrews will initially focus on marketing services for PennWell's recently acquired Public Safety Group as well as its Fire Group, which includes Fire Engineering and Fire Apparatus & Emergency Equipment magazines, the company said in a statement.
