Cleveland--Continuing its acquisition strategy in the technology media and information services, Penton Media announced Tuesday it has acquired Campbell, Calif.-based Stardust.com, a privately held producer of conferences and forums serving the Internet industry. Stardust.com will become part of Penton's Internet media group, which includes the Internet World trade shows and magazine, ISPCON events, Boardwatch and CLEC magazines and CLECexpo. Stardust.com, formerly Stardust Forums, produces the annual IP Multicast Summit, the twice-yearly iBand conference, the QoS Forum, and a portfolio of technology reports, news roundups and intelligence services.
