Penton debuts marketing services division

New York—Penton Media has launched Penton Marketing Services to provide b-to-b marketers with custom content; SEO, website development and other digital media services; research; and lead generation and lead nurturing programs.

The new unit will be led by Kim Paulsen, senior VP-marketing services. George Assimakopoulos is the division's VP-digital media services. He is the former CEO of online marketing company EyeTraffic Media, which Penton recently acquired and is a cornerstone of Penton Marketing Services.

“Marketers are clamoring for new solutions to grow their businesses, and they want providers intimately familiar with their industry segment,” Sharon Rowlands, Penton Media CEO, said in a statement. “Penton Marketing Services perfectly aligns our capabilities and deep knowledge of our markets with this demand.”
