Published on .

In a bid to consolidate its b-to-b businesses, Penton Media Inc. has reorganized into four divisions. These include: Penton Technology Media, which includes the Internet World Media Franchise and the Penton Electronics Group; Penton Industry Media, which consists of design, engineering and manufacturing franchises; Penton Retail Media, which consists mainly of convenience store retailing publications; and Penton Lifestyle Media, which includes natural products magazines and Web sites. Penton's reorganization comes as its revenues continue to expand. It had revenues of $300 million in 1999, up from $208 million in 1998.
