New York—Penton Marketing Services has introduced new video and social media elements to extend the reach and effectiveness of its sponsored webinar platform.
The Webinar+Video format uses webcam technology to create conversation-based videos, allowing several speakers in multiple locations to appear in a single seminar. The Webinar+Social format integrates targeted social media content, promoted through Penton's social media channels, and social media widgets for producers to use during webinars.
“We successfully execute hundreds of Web seminars every year,” said Tim Stark, director of Penton's digital events, in a statement. “We expect even more growth in this segment by adding informal videos to presentations and offering Penton's social media marketing power to online events, as well.”
