Penton shares begin trading on OTC bulletin board

Cleveland--Penton Media Inc. announced late Tuesday that its common stock was officially de-listed from the New York Stock Exchange after the company failed to meet listing criteria, such as maintaining a share price above $1 and a minimum shareholders' equity or book value. Penton’s shares now trade on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board. The company's new trading symbol is PTON. In early trading on Wednesday, its shares were trading at 42 cents, up from 39 cents at the opening bell.
