Boulder, Colo.—Penton Media Friday announced it has acquired NPIcenter, an online information resource for professionals in the nutraceuticals, nutritionals, dietary supplements, cosmetics and food industries. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. NPIcenter will become part of Penton’s New Hope Natural Media, which covers the natural products industry. NPIcenter’s flagship product is NPIcenter.com, which garners more than 400,000 visits from natural supply executives per month. NPIcenter also produces opt-in electronic newsletters, including “NPI Daily” and “NPIWatch,” a weekly.
