Pfizer, IBM, Microsoft start physician software company

New York--Pfizer Inc., IBM Corp. and Microsoft Corp. have jointly started Amicore, a company that will develop and market software to physicians. Though Amicore is an independent company with its own marketing and sales staffs, its backers plan to leverage their respective brands to help it make marketing inroads.
