Pitney Bowes agrees to buy Group 1 Software

Stamford, Conn.--Pitney Bowes has agreed to acquire data quality provider Group 1 Software, Lanham, Md., in a deal worth approximately $321 million. The company will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Pitney Bowes, and no management changes are planned. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter.
