Pitney Bowes launches cloud-based email service

Stamford, Conn.—Pitney Bowes, currently expanding into digital marketing services, is introducing a cloud-based email marketing solution for any device or social media channel.

The company's pbSmart Connections service, aimed at small businesses, has an events promotion feature and will allow the creation of template-based email campaigns and newsletters, as well as social media linking.

Later this year, Pitney Bowes is expected to launch its new Volly service, which will allow mail recipients to receive, view, organize and manage digitized versions of bills, statements, direct marketing, catalogs, coupons and other content they might normally send and receive via paper mail.
