Pitney Bowes opens Global Technology Center

Stamford, Conn.—Pitney Bowes, continuing its transformation into a customer communications management company, has opened a Global Technology Center in Danbury, Conn. The company said the center will house its engineering, research and development, product management and information technology services. Pitney Bowes, known for its traditional direct-mail technology and postage meters, has been busy recently launching a series of marketing communications, analytics and billing intelligence services aimed at b-to-b marketers while expanding its line of high-speed digital color printers.
