Pitney Bowes service to help place 'transpromo' ads

Published on .

Stamford, Conn.—Mailstream marketing company Pitney Bowes has launched a Web-based platform to help match advertisers with high-volume transactional mailers. The company's platform allows advertisers to place ads in white space within bills and statements. Using Pitney Bowes' MarketSpace, third-party advertisers can select and purchase “transpromotional” advertising placements in other companies' transactional mailings. It identifies unused space, analyzes document recipients, matches recipients to the advertiser's target segment and places an appropriate message, according to Pitney Bowes.
