Pivotal positions new services

North Vancouver, Canada--Pivotal Corp., a 5-year-old customer relationship management company, has upgraded its software used to mix call centers and Web interaction. The new software, branded as Pivotal Contact Center and Pivotal Self-Service, allows marketers to reduce the cost of creating self-service e-mail, fax, phone and Web chat interactions, the company said. Wind2 Software Inc., Fort Collins, Colo., is using the Pivotal software to up-sell and cross-sell on its site.
