PNC, Intel will market transactional sites to businesses

Published on .

Pittsburgh--PNC Bank and Intel Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., have inked a pact to develop and market transactional Web sites to PNC's small- to mid-size business customers. The program, called iSites@PNC Bank, will allow businesses to build and maintain e-commerce sites for as little as $50 per month. The businesses will also be marketed a package that allows them to be set up in PNC's recently launched online shopping mall. The sites will be hosted by PNC and Intel. PNC's moves follow recent launches by banks including Citigroup, New York, and Wells Fargo & Co., San Francisco, to market Web sites to businesses.
