E-mail industry experts will gather Sept. 21 at PointnClick Inc.’s Email Marketing Conference in Downers Grove, Ill., to discuss strategies and issues affecting the e-mail marketing industry. The one-day seminar will feature presentations and panel discussion with experts such as Carl Hutzler, the director of anti-spam operations at AOL; Craig Spiezle, Microsoft’s director of partner and business strategy for its Safety Technology Strategy Group; and executives from ClickTracks, Return Path, Search Logic and SubscriberMail. The event is sponsored by MarketingSherpa and the Direct Marketing Association’s Association for Interactive Marketers subsidiary. Topics of discussion will include anti-spam filtering issues, list maintenance and SPF and Sender ID authentication solutions.
