PointRoll announces local ad format

Fort Washington, Pa.—PointRoll announced the release of PaperBoy Local Delivery, a new ad format that allows advertisers to provide local market content in online ads.

The ad program is running on Web sites including Yahoo!, USAToday.com and the local newspaper sites of Gannett Co., Knight-Ridder, Real Cities Network and Tribune Co.

PaperBoy ads automatically incorporate dynamic information, such as featured products, pricing, store locator and coupon printing, into interactive online circulars running on participating Web sites.

The online circulars are provided though a partnership with ShopLocal.
