Pooley to succeed Kirkland at 'Fortune'

New York—Time Inc. announced that Eric Pooley will succeed Rik Kirkland as managing editor of Fortune. Kirkland is stepping down after four years as the magazine’s top editor. Pooley is currently editor of Time magazine’s European, Middle Eastern and African editions. Kirkland said he was stepping down as an editor to return to writing.
