Postal Service seeks direct mail partner

By Published on .

Washington, D.C.—The U.S. Postal Service is seeking overtures from direct mail companies for a possible partnership.

The USPS is requesting industry comments and capability information from organizations “with the experience, qualifications, proven approaches, solutions and industry best practices necessary to deliver and operate an end-to-end online direct mail solution targeted at the small/medium enterprise segment.”

According to a posting on the Fedbizopps.gov Web site, the request for information is part of the USPS' effort to explore “different relationship structures involving third parties.” The USPS has set a deadline of April 23 for companies to respond.

E-mail SMERFI@usps.gov with questions, or to respond to the request for information.
