Primedia CFO-treasurer resigns

New York--Primedia Inc. announced Tuesday that Lawrence Rutkowski, senior VP-CFO and treasurer, has resigned “in a decision that was made mutually with the company,” according to a press release. Matthew A. Flynn succeeds Rutkowski. Robert J. Sforzo, senior VP-corporate controller, has been named to the new position of chief accounting officer. Rutkowski is the second officer to leave Primedia in little more than a month. Thomas S. Rogers resigned as chairman-CEO in April. In early trading Tuesday, Primedia’s share price was $3.33, up 4.39%.
