Primedia debuts 'Modern Uniforms'

Published on .

New York--Primedia announced the launch of Modern Uniforms, a complementary title to the media company's Wearables Business and Stitches magazines. It marks the company's first launch in three years.

The publication, which targets uniform apparel dealers and distributors in several industries, will publish six issues this year.

Separately, Primedia Business on Wednesday announced internally that it has appointed Jason Meyers, editorial director of Telephony and Wireless Review, as chairman of the company's 11-member Editorial Council. Geoff Lewis, editorial director of the Financial Services Group and Folio, who previously led the council, will serve as vice chairman.

The 18-month-old group was created to give editors and art directors a forum for establishing editorial standards and identifying ways to improve content, according to Primedia.
