Overland Park, Kan.—Primedia Business Magazines & Media, which produces business publications, Web sites and exhibitions, announced the debut of PrimeAG Marketing Information Solutions.
"It’s an umbrella name we’re giving to a new initiative," said AnnMarie Wills, director of database development at Primedia.
The unit was established to market Primedia’s agricultural data to advertisers. Using its nine agriculture-related publications, Primedia created a central database of 2.5 million names, including 2.3 million unique farming businesses. Advertisers can rent the list on a CPM basis and do data appending using Primedia’s data, as well as perform list hygiene on their own lists using the data.
