New York--After a several-month search, Primedia Business-to-Business announced Thursday that Cable Neuhaus has been named editor in chief of Folio:, a monthly covering the magazine industry. Neuhaus will officially take the role on June 17. Neuhaus comes to Primedia from Time Inc., where he served as a reporter and editor for People and Entertainment Weekly. “His hire is a signal to the magazine industry that we are ready to invest in editorial excellence,” said David Ferm, president-CEO of Primedia’s Business-to-Business unit. Neuhaus will be reporting to John McManus, editorial director of Media Central, a division of Primedia Business-to-Business.
