Primedia names president of b-to-b group

New York--Primedia announced David G. Ferm, formerly president of The McGraw-Hill Cos.' Business Week Group, has been named president of Primedia's business-to-business group. At Primedia, Ferm will oversee the more than 100 b-to-b titles of Intertec Publishing, 30 trade shows, Primedia Workplace Learning, Primedia Information and Industry Click, which is Primedia's b-to-b Internet division. William P. Kupper Jr. will succeed Ferm as president of Business Week Group. Primedia also announced the appointment of Jim Ritts to the new post of president-broadband video and president-CEO of Channel One. Tom Rogers, chairman-CEO of Primedia, said a key task for Ritts is to find broadband revenue streams on the Internet.
