‘PROMO’ reports online promotion budgets up

New York—According to a new study by Penton Media’s PROMO magazine, 49% of marketers plan to increase their online promotion budgets this year. PROMO’s Interactive Marketer Trends Study found that 55% of marketers reported that e-mail marketing is their largest spending item, followed by e-mail newsletters (45%). Also, 31% of marketers said they increased their marketing staff in 2006.
