Promotional printer opens Web doors

Published on .

Nelson Marketing's 4imprint unit, Oshkosh, Wis., said Friday that it has opened up a Web site for ordering its line of 1,000 imprinted promotional products. The move follows similar Internet commerce efforts by competitors such as Ha-Lo Industries, Chicago, and Corporategear.com, New York. 4imprint said its site features several types of search, online pricing, freight calculation and order status, even if the order was not placed on the Internet. 4imprint, Oshkosh, Wis., said a big benefit is the ability to see what a promotional item will look like with the customer's logo emblazoned on it before ordering. Also, 4imprint looks to carry other vendors' products, it said.
