Publicis acquires mobile agency Monterosa

Paris—Publicis Groupe announced the acquisition of global mobile agency Monterosa. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Stockholm-based Monterosa, which has offices in New York and Singapore, has 30 employees. Clients include Google, Mercedes Benz, Samsung, Vodafone and AT&T. The mobile agency will be added to the network's Bartle Bogle Hegarty ad agency. Monterosa will keep its name and will continue to work with its own clients as well as agency partners throughout BBH and Publicis Groupe. Carl Norberg, a co-founder of Monterosa, will continue to manage the agency and will report to BBH Group's CEO, Gwyn Jones.
